Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and organized Office Assistant with an interest in environmental conservation to join our team at FSI. The Office Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting various departments including the owner, president, human resources, bookkeeper, and foresters as needed.This is a full-time position, with hours Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; but hours may vary.
Responsibilities & Supportive Tasks:
- Provide administrative support to the owner, president, HR, bookkeeper, and foresters.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, make travel arrangements, coordinate meetings and perform general office duties.
- Help with expense tracking and inventory management of office supplies, equipment and vehicles.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls and emails.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital.
- Assist with HR tasks such as supporting coordination with interviews, new hire orientation and processing paperwork.
- Assist with drafting and proofreading correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the company.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to travel regularly to Paauilo and Kona.
