Kupuʻs Environmental Education Department (EED) works to prepare Hawaiʻi's youth to engage in the islandsʻ natural resources management sector. Through our suite of environmental education programs, we work directly with youth ages 11 to 21+. The EED also works at the system level. We collaborate with schools, nonprofits, state government departments and industry members to best ensure we are preparing Hawaiʻi's youth for the islandsʻ environmental sector workforce so that they can take on the challenges faced by their home's unique ecosystems
